Under perfect weather conditions, the Munds Park Trail Stewards held their last 2019 Volunteer Event on October 5th. The crews cleaned up trash along the Forest Roads 240, 700F and 700.
One of the clean-up crews found an untended campfire near Casner Park, the campfire was contained with water.
I would like to thank everyone who supported the MUTS this work season. The MUTS supporters include, but not limited to the trail volunteers, trailhead clean-up volunteers, the Barb & Bob Timberman lunch crew, those who provided financial support, and the MUTS officers and the board of director members. As always, the MUTS supporters and volunteers did a brilliant job this season.
If you would like to more information on the trails surrounding the Munds Park community, then click the “Maps” link on the MUTS website. We have mapped most of the official Coconino N.F. trails around Munds Park. The Coconino N.F. just gave us a Kelly Canyon motorized trail system map, which is on our website= – www.mundsparktrailstewards.com.
