Soon the Coconino National Forest will be closing motorized access to the roads and motorized trails. Do NOT drive around the roads and trails closure gates and signs. Driving on moisture saturated surfaces causes road damage, soil erosion and the vehicle can get stuck. Unless posted, the CNF lands will remain open for non-motorized travel and snowmobiles. If you have any questions regarding road closures contact Flagstaff Ranger Station at 928.526.0866.

When traveling in the backcountry remember to being water, food, warm clothes, navigation aids and a first aid kit.
