September 2026 -- And the work continues!
After removing the fence from the middle of Horse Park in August, the goal in September was to rebuild the fence along the east side of the park, guiding users to the improved road.

Rocky Road OHV motorized trail realignment at Horse Park
The fencing in Horse Park that we originally installed in 2019, is now being moved to a new area within Horse Park. This project will move the existing path slightly to the east to use a better, wider path previously created by logging crews in the area.

In August, the MUTS crews installed additional fencing along the Horse Park Trail to help keep off-road vehicles on the trail and avoid detrimental effects for the park area. The purchase of the logs and transportation expenses were covered by a grant from Arizona Sportsmen for Wildlife Conservation.
MUTS crews also conducted a trash pickup in the area, gathering up alot of things "left behind", including a recliner.
